| How to get to Las Palmas - Lost Baja Discovered |

After you cross the border at the San Ysidro Border Crossing you want to follow the traffic to Rosarito. The highway called the Rapida runs along side the USA-Mexican Border until you reach Playas de Tijuana. As you approach Playas you will want to drive in the left lane as the entrance to the Esencia - Toll Road is on the left hand side of the highway. About a mile or so you will have to pay the toll for the trip to Rosarito - about $2.00.
As you approach Rosarito you will continue south on the Esenica until you reach the 7/11 Plaza and Energy Gas Station. You will exit at the plaza and turn left on the free road heading south about 4 miles until you arrive at Las Palamas.
